Well everyone, our AGM passed off well with all our Committee members agreeing to continue to work for the Club.
In early February our Chairman attended the Papplewick Pumping Station Trust in Nottinghamshire, where last year our annual club run had terminated and we had been made very welcome. John handed their representative a cheque in thanks as a donation from surplus funds from our run which was well received.
Last November we lost one of our members, Charmayne, who had been a member of the Club with her partner Ian since 2009. She had struggled with cancer for almost two years but very bravely continued to attend events. At the end of February, Club members had a run out to plant snowdrops at Charmayne's burial meadow at Brightwater Gardens near Market Rasen.
This was a poignant visit with happy memories to a pleasant peaceful spot to end ones days and our thoughts were very much with Charmayne and for Ian.
Thirteen of us then had a relaxed lunch at the Willows in Glentham, Charmaynes favourite garden centre, a fitting end to our tribute run.
